Mindfulness- the art of being fully and deliberately present in the moment- is one of the greatest tools we have when it comes to regulating our nervous system and feeling more grounded.
Originating from Buddhist traditions, Chan, and Tibetan meditation techniques, mindfulness was popularized (and appropriated) by the Western world in the 1990’s. There are a number of apps and services you can use to access guided meditation, however, many of these come with monthly fees and generalized scripts. I offer an affordable $10 alternative; personalized guided meditations.
